Why holistic wellness coaching?

In our Western society, regular care usually mainly focuses on symptom control. Little or no account is taken of the person himself, lifestyle adjustments and the underlying causes of disorders and complaints. In fact, in most cases what is being fought is part of our system's attempt to communicate with us and recover!

 

In my experience, this approach can eventually lead to chronic problems. And the person himself learns nothing from it. Personally, I was never satisfied with that: I wanted to know why something was going on and how I could prevent it in the future. I wanted to experience myself in control of my health and well-being. But regular doctors could never answer my questions...

 

So I did my own research. And I was able to solve all my (chronic) complaints. I have personally experienced the role diet and lifestyle can play in our sense of well-being and health. And I have discovered the power of the mindset. Fascinated by the placebo effect and spontaneous self-healing, I have spent the past 15 years studying the influence that body, mind, emotions, energy and our soul have on each other. And how we can become aware of this and use it to improve our well-being.

 

In order to prevent the recurrence of complaints as much as possible and to limit or even solve the impact of complaints, I try (together with my clients, but also in my private life) to get to the core as much as possible. This often forms a complex whole. For example, if you want to know what your fatigue is related to, you can imagine that this can have a multitude of causes, such as: broken nights due to your newborn baby, stress, hormonal issues, vitamin deficiencies, sleep apnea, your lifestyle, dissatisfaction with your life, continuously going beyond your limits, fear, depression, worrying, eating too late, not exercising enough, energy blockages, bad Feng Shui, the position of the moon/planets, entities that feed on your energy, etc, etc, etc. Sometimes it can even be difficult to determine where to start. By looking at the bigger picture and, if necessary, doing an intuitive reading to consult your inner wisdom, we can get to the root of the problem.

Holistic well-being coaching at Wellness in Mind means that we can look at all aspects of your life in order to achieve optimal well-being: a total approach on a mental, physical, behavioral, emotional, energetic, relational, contextual and spiritual level. Preferably preventive!
