I've always wanted to help people. I dreamed of becoming a psychologist from the age of 3. Growing up I was a great listener and even grown-ups were often surprised by my insightful questions and advice.
The services I offer have evolved alongside my own personal and professional development. That process actually started when I was 12 years old. By then I was so fed up with my anxieties and being "the weird, silent, shy kid" that, when an opportunity presented itself (we were gonna move to a whole different part of the country) I decided to seize the moment. I wanted to present myself differently. Nobody knew me at my new school, so I would act as a "normal", confident girl. And I did!
This was yet another adaptation, but this version of me turned out to be much more "the real me" than I've ever been or shown before.
So at 12 years old I was aware of my fears and strange behaviors. "Playing" the character of the girl I wanted to be helped me make friends, open up and truly find myself.
At 16 I became consciously aware of the importance of "healing the wounds of my past". It was at this age that I felt I would love to have a child of my own one day. And I thought it was important to not impose my unhealthy patterns and beliefs on him/her.
After (finally!) getting my master's degree in psychology I never stopped learning. My upbringing and my personal quest for answers and healing brought me on a path of natural remedies and complementary (alternative) healing methods. Eventually I was able to use my own wounds and (physical) pains to achieve growth and personal mastery.
And... on my journey I collected a multitude of tools that I could use for both my own and my client's benefit.
Everything I teach my clients, every modality I use, all the processes I guide them through...
I went through and use(d) myself. To me they aren't some abstract, theoretical frameworks. These are practices that, for me, actually worked, that I wholeheartedly believe in and that I want to share with others.
In "my toolbox" you can find information on some of the modalities that I use, to give you an idea of what to expect.
I combine everything I've learned into a holistic approach of the problem I'm presented with. It's a highly intuitive process so most of the time I don't know what the trajectory will entail precisely. So to get a sense of what it would look like to work together, please schedule a discovery call!
